Shining the spotlight on Standout’s new Managing Director, Lindsay Hey

Our Standout field marketing agency has recently appointed a new Managing Director, Lindsay Hey. Part of the Avidity Group for 9 years, Lindsay brings with her an enviable retail background and wealth of experience in Client and People Management at Director level.
Lindsay recently took over the reins for our field marketing agency Standout so we’re putting her in the spotlight to understand her exciting plans for the agency, why she loves being part of the team and her experience in role during her early weeks.
What was your journey that led you to Standout?
My journey with the Group began with two driving passions: a deep love for products and a genuine connection with people - both of which remain at the core of my approach today.
I’m hugely excited about my new role, keen to bring value through not only a wealth of operational experience but also strategic leadership honed over 9 years in field sales leadership within the Group. This has allowed me to lead diverse teams, drive performance, challenge the status quo and ultimately deliver results at scale. Prior to joining the Group, I built an extensive career in retail, managing diverse brands and services. My track record of success in retail, combined with my leadership experience within the Group, positions me to contribute strategically and passionately to the future of this role for the Standout team.
What excites you about Standout and the role so far?
Standout will be at the forefront of innovation, consistently delivering exciting advancements for a diverse set of clients across multiple channels and sectors. The company’s commitment to client success and its focus on delivering tangible results truly sets it apart. Over the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of building high-performing teams and partnering with both established and disruptor brands. This role offers me the opportunity to apply that experience to drive further success for our clients through continuous innovation and exceptional service.
What excites me most about Standout is its people and the incredible contributions of its teams. From Territory Managers to Account Controllers, the passion for delivering client success is evident at every level. In just three years, the Standout has built a thriving business backed by a highly skilled and dedicated team, and I’m fortunate to be stepping into a leadership role where I can help shape its future.
My background in retail has taught me to thrive in fast-moving environments, and Standout exemplifies that dynamic energy. I’m eager to continue being highly visible in the field, working closely with our teams and clients to identify and truly understand both challenges and opportunities across the various markets. By maintaining that close connection with our field partners, I’m confident we can drive Standout’s growth and deliver even greater results for our clients moving forward.
What are your first priorities for the business in your new Managing Director role?
I have three initial focus areas as I take on my new role as Managing Director for the Standout agency.
